>Steve's one of the best things to happen to Microsoft.
How so? Like one of those "How much worse can this get?" type of bosses? When it leaves, everyone is like "It can't get worse that that" or "Oh...that's what fresh air smells like" -
@PaperTrail it was just bait to fuck with the "M$ bad reeeee" retards that still refuse to accept that the company has changed.
They wanted the company to change, and it did. But they still autistically screech and bitch about everything they do. It's fuckin stupid. -

I spoke to Microsoft folks at Microsoft Build who said Steve was as bad as you might think. When he left, it was like a weight taken off the chest. I could tell a 'switch' between a very corporate conference and a much, much, much more open conference where I could *find and talk* to the developers that actually wrote the code I was using.
I'm so glad they got rid of the 'booth babes' and corporate salesmen at their events who are only interested in selling.
You can't imagine my 'awe' after asking a question about Microsoft's AppFabric caching and the guy says "Just a sec, Sonjay wrote that code, hey Sonjay, this guy needs some help."
vs. girls wearing a too-tight white t-shirts who's only talent was memorizing the sales pamphlet.
