Fortunately you can bring your laptop to meetings. Some companies forbid it. I wonder why?

maryon999y@Letmecode its a meeting with the client and the company cant afford a project manager, so they sent a developer to meetings. Cheap ass companies.
The worst part is you have to commute to the client with horrendous traffic. I just want to finish the project so i can leave peacefully. -
xios16409yJust today I was sitting in a meeting where some talking heads were letting out notices and I was taking down "notes". I was really. But while there were the intervals of the basic bullshit of absurdness that are not worth taking notes off I was developing.
I spend most of my time at work in meetings. And it's total bullshit. It's 95% of the time of chitchat and sirclejerk. Especially internal ones that have no predeclared agenda. Those should be forbidden by law. -
Schnoops909yIt's awful when you have a lot of work pending and you just sit there hearing them repeat the same thing 4 times just to see if everyone is "in the same channel". Internal meetings should be banned.
