    I've got my PC and an old Mac Mini (for iOS development) on a KVM switch.

    PC is also my gaming rig.

    Those cables... Please tidy them. βœ‹

    @drRoss it's weird. The cable management in my computer is great, but admittedly, everywhere else it suffers.

    Here you go... Changing soon thou

    @perix2 nice to have ide full screen... One screen for media ... One for the project or website I'm testing\building

    I'd have 6 if I could
  • 3
    @perix2 @FitzSuperUser Reality: StackOverflow on one, IDE on the other and Outlook on the third.

    @perix2 most of the time it's to have documentation up or email up on one screen and IDE open on the other. Sometimes it's so you can watch YouTube :P

    @thmnmlst yeah probably. Not going to though :P

    @drRoss @perix2 @deusprogrammer

    Well I need ftp generally to... So mine gets super hectic ...

    Ideal would be ... Ide on bottom left ... Current project build middle screen ... Right screen video media music whatever I want at the time

    Top row... Windows explorer ... FTP middle emails ... Messenger Skype etc

    Right top news feeds time widgets and quick app links

    That would be perfect .... More screens the better

    I do also want to remove all the bevel and have them right next to each other

    @FitzSuperUser in that case maybe one massive monitor is all you need :P. Surely someone makes software to split one screen into multiple smaller monitors. If there doesn't exist such a product, sounds like a fun side project.

    @thmnmlst in all honesty the reason the cords are dangling all over the place is because I move things a lot. I used to have things zip tied and bundled...but after taking various consoles and taking them to friends houses or moving them to the living room, I got fed up with cutting zip ties and redoing it again.

    @deusprogrammer it exists πŸ˜‚, but the screens generally don't... They are hella expensive ...

    1080p or 4k on 6 monitors means one huge monitor needs 12k? That's huge

    Messy but efficient :)

    Simple: 27" iMAC, Nakamichi SoundSpace 5 for tunes Lenovo Workstation and a bunch of phones for testing
  • 1
    SNES! FTW! do all consoles work?
  • 0
    Is that a helmet with a spoon in it on the bottom right between the desk and the consoles?
  • 0
    @DiegoAtravesar it's a bowl :P. I was eating soup.

    @deusprogrammer can I request a close-up of the bowl, it looks like... Well, not a bowl to me :p

    Here's my workspace setup

    @sam21s 3 monitors off 1 MacBook? How?
  • 1
    @sam21s my dream 😒

    In DevOps environment, we code automation softwares in Python, JavaScript and ruby.... platform is ServiceNow... Platform rarely matters in our automations
  • 0
    @drRoss coz the duck rules it...lol
    See what was done hereπŸ˜‹
  • 1
    @sam21s We also use Service Now... What do you think of it?
  • 0
    @drRoss well my comments will mostly be biased for the reason you can guess... But all aside, I'll just say it is certainly maintained very preciously and is a product of some of the brilliant mindsets who are improving it with their continuous efforts.

    @sam21s So you work at Service Now? I knew that was a Service Now coffee cup!
  • 0
    @drRoss how do you know, isn't that a bit hazy?

    @drRoss the internet is awesome πŸ˜‰

    @sam21s I'll be trying this out tomorrow. https://github.com/Sam-Martin/...

    @drRoss I'm not the author though
  • 1
    @sam21s Ha, I guessed that. I figure it'd be quicker than the Service Now UI.
