My shift key is right-indented by one arrow key, and my ctrl key is indented by two arrow keys. Does that count as aligned?

It's a laptop keyboard. I don't mind this configuration - any keyboard takes a little getting used to and then feels natural and this was no exception. What's wrong with it?

I grew up on IBM compatible keyboards on Dos, Windows and Linux, and after about 25 years training my left little finger for the ctrl key when cutting, pasting, undoing and whatever, even after 5 years on a Mac I cant get used to the location of the cmd key...
