Init.d?? What distro/version? If you're using Gnome, try using a ~/.config/autostart/*.desktop file to start a background .sh process at boot

@stable-penguin my gui doesn't automatically start. And I actually want this script to run before login so /etc/profile isn't the right spot. (I'm using Arch) I think I have to do something with systemd
