I always spend minute or two to delete "Hey It looks like you are using ad blocker" popup div and some overflow-hidden css class by pressing F12.

I'll do it again and again and again...

Fuck those annoying advertisements.

    Some site I come across pretty often, has some script that disables scrolling when it detects an ad-blocker. Now that's just plain evil.

    Just wait, I've seen one site render an image of the first few lines of the article, even if you remove the modal, there's no content back there 😔

    @C0D4 @Marl3x No! That's not fair.
    What is happening to the web world 😓

    @scorpionk there's some crazy managers out there that want every penny! Even if it costs them to get it.

    With a decent ad blocker, you can block not just URLs, but also DOM elements on a page.

    Unless the company makes money in some other way, you're literally killing the service by making the extra effort to prevent them from generating revenue.

    @Lor-inc I don't skip YouTube ad on the channel that simplify complex things. So there's that.

    @Marl3x haha, you were planning to read whole srticle by scrolling and reading 2 lines behind seethrough shadow? NO.

    @Lor-inc Well, there are services which have reasonable amount of non-intrusive ads. Nobody has a problem with those and I personally try to disable adblocker on those.

    And then there are the other ones, who put ad between every two or three lines long paragraph and ofcourse they blast popups in front of the content all the time.

    This calls for an extension that removes those divs with 1 click and removes "overflow: hidden"

    @hitzoR How exactly do you decide with your adblocker on, whether the ads would be intrusive or not?

    @Lor-inc there's usually a giant white space after every paragraph, I'll leave it turned off for those sites.
