@zvyn I got this temporary job to pay for a future trip - which got COVID-postponed. The main task is to upgrade from PHP 5 to 7, but then I got to deal with all sorts of spaghetti code...

Every time I see this type of craziness I think about the trip and that it's just going to last a couple more weeks.

@amoux that was probably a quick way to get the code to skip the first part without deleting it - something I'd say is common when people are not used to VCS to navigate code history.. or during debugging, in which case it should never had stayed in the codebase haha
