Has anyone else tried the new Edge properly yet, and if so, what do you think of it?

It's actually become my main browser now.

I use it for testing, but would never consider using it. Microsoft account is decidedly the line. Giving the data to Google is one thing, giving it to MS is quite another.

I tried it, it's been "IE'd" with the way it defaults html elements and I walked away.

I tried using it exclusively for about two weeks and it's fine, but there were a few relatively minor nits that added up to push me back to Chrome. One that comes to mind is the inability to mute a site. You can mute a tab, but you can't mute a specific site. Something like CNN that insists on blaring videos all the fucking time makes that pretty close to a dealbreaker for me (I did find an extension AutoMute that kind solves the problem, but it's not quite the same). Actually, to be honest, that's the only one that I remember off the top of my head. I know there were a few others, but they escape me now. Not bad, but I'm sticking with Chrome.

Im not signed into a Microsoft account and there's no requirement for that.

I've tried it but I see zero reasons as to why I'd use a chromium browser with a Microsoft layer over it over just plain Chromium (no, not Chrome, google can go fuck itself).

Main browser is Firefox regardless but sometimes its good to be able to test on multiple browsers and that's where Chromium comes in.

If you want to sync, it requires a microsoft account. If you're not syncing, there's no value to having MS ninja telemetry.

@SortOfTested No, I don't use sync, , I wouldn't trust any of these Companies, frankly.

Though I'd choose Ms over Google and mozilla.
