My 7 years old computer broke down :(

Finally I have a good reason for buying a new computer. It will have twice as much RAM, SSD drive will be more than 4 times the size of the old one, processor will be 5 generations newer and the graphic card will have 3 times more video memory.

So is it 2*4*3+5 = 29 times better than old one? Is my math correct?

Cool, but idk about the Kingston drive. I have not exactly a good experience with Kingston products.

@hack Not sure if that's how it works, but I won't be sad if you're correct :D

@lamka02sk My old computer had Kingston SSD as well and I never had any issues with it. Let's hope it continues like that:D

@Demolishun that's true too, in the laptop market they improved a lot, I had a hands on a A12 laptop and my core i7 5500u was a lot better. Lately I bought a ryzen 5 lappy for my sista, and well, they seems tooo much better now for amd

I am taping into your blessing because my machine is 8 years old and beginning to groan under 8GB RAM/ 500GB HDD and I am too broke to afford a high powered pc 😭

AMD was awesome in the Athlon eara. They invented 64 bit x86 instruction set than too. When Intel came out with the core 2 duo etc it was all Intel again. AMD didn't do anything to compete with Intel. Now with the Ryzen line they are way ahead of Intel again. Top of the line processors that cost a third or fourth of Intels but comparable performance. I think there next gen is going to even further the gap. So yeah AMD is the way to go now.
