FuckTS1965y@AleCx04 for a fresh graduate yes, average pay is usually around 4000-6000EGP. Min wage is around 150 USD or so.

FuckTS1965y@AleCx04 according to numbeo, Egypt is the 12th cheapest country to live in the world. Truth is, if you don't live with your parents or have your own home, you're pretty fucked. For example in my city lowest rent is 2k EGP in bad neighborhoods, my friend's family is renting for 10k EGP a month in a good area.

@FuckTS One plus side of covid-19 is that companies are more open to remote work. So build yourself a representative portfolio to show of your skills and works as soon as possible. The german minimum wage for example is 9.35€/h or 1570 € per month, 26666 EGP. And Germany is desperately searching for programmers.
-
@FuckTS if you're going to try remote, I know NNIT is looking and is open for remote and is a multinational company, so as long as your English is on point... ;-)
-
FuckTS1965y@ArcaneEye hmm, would a multinational company take a fresh graduate? This is just my 3rd month in my current company, I think I might need more experience.
-
@FuckTS yeah sounds about right. Get two years of experience and learn stuff night and day. Do side projects for clients and open source. Build a impressive github presence. And find your niche, meaning get good at something that not many are.
Look for what job requirements remote employers seek for on www.remoteok.io -
@FuckTS they were interested in me, with minimal experience and no education, so I'd say it's worth a shot ;-)

@Haxk20 Linkedin very quickly goes from a nice way to find employers to an annoying hellhole filled with spamming "recruiters" who keep wasting your time.
-
Get on LinkedIn, follow the company and try and contact their recruiters I guess, I don't work there so I can't really help you :-(

I got paid today. 4000 EGP ,which roughly equates to 254 USD. And I had to listen to my boss bitching about me not working enough last week. Living in a 3rd world country is pretty great!
