Is 29 years of age to old to start learning to do some form of programming and get a full time job??? Thinkin C++ and python, i have done some research, and i will learn through youtube and books, because i have wanted to do such a thing but busy life, and im really getting to the end of my tether working in a fucking kitchen, hmph

well, there's no preference as such. No single language stands out as the best. Try a bunch of languages and stick to what you like and/or you're comfortable with. Also, it depends on job opportunities and what your employers demand. That said, C++/Python are fine languages to begin with. I'd say you go ahead and learn any JVM language (Java/Scala/Kotlin), any recently introed Systems programming language (Go, Rust). And most of all, you need Web dev skills as well (HTML5/CSS/JS), eventhough you don't like Front-end dev.

Spend some time and find out for yourself what you like and what you want to do. That way, you'll know what to stick with.

You should really read a rant posted yesterday about how a 29 year old became a developer. In short its never too late.

Never too late. Dive in and never look back. Make vast use of YouTube.
