As others have indicated, what is a "password list" for you?

You could mean something like:
- A text file to use as an input for a password cracking tool. The file format is usually a simple text file with one password / line.
- A list of random passwords. See the "pwgen" tool for an example
- Your personal password manager.

At the end of the day, both languages are general purpose languages nowadays so choose the one you are safer in or the one you want to have more experience with.
