Anyone remember my rant about Go and GTK? Well, the main problem was that it was 3 AM, I've since completed it, and have begun to refactor that spaghetti mess.

I feel so good right now.

Go and GTK? That sounds like a Monday to me

@dontPanic I've wanted to learn go, and I use gnome, so there wasn't much of a choice for a gui app.

@theKarlisK I started with one of the gotk3 examples (the Glade one in particular, it makes UI stuff much easier), and started from there. Intellisense happened to be very, very helpful (Go Docs are just annoying), and I also had to refer to the gnome developers GTK docs to understand how dialogs work...

But overall, it was fun.

One tip: don't learn a new language at 3am, what is way to complicated at that time, becomes very simple after a nights sleep.
