Yo.

Is it always worthwhile to learn web development?

Because of too much website builder out there

I'm feeling like my skill is now useless😟

    Yes! It certainly is.

Those "Drag'n Drop DIY Site Builders" are evolving but they still pretty limited in terms of functionalities and design.

Don't worry, people that are using those apps weren't going to contract a web developer in the first place.

Good to any job posting site and search HTML, CSS, Javascript. TONS of job offers.

Enterprise solutions still require custom frontend.
Anyway o highly recommend to learn some backend as well, at least nodejs.

I do complex web applications for companies with particular needs and trust me, none of those builder will ever be able to do that. So no, you ain't useless, we need competent web devs, it's rare.

That's a bit like asking if we still need artists in this world given we all have clipart.

@AlmondSauce This is analogy is accurate.

Maybe CMS developers fit in here as something like expert clipart managers who have some beginner knowledge of how to create their own clipart.

How to set up a deadline for a web dev project?

Well web builder is a codeless. Means there's code, but you can't directly change it, so it will always be limited. Learn what you want to learn.
