@Wisecrack We were both assholes. It really isn't surprising, neither of us had much experience at socialising, and it only lasted so long because we both thought that being alone would be worse and sane people wouldn't date us. Apparently being alone is much better.

Relationships take serious work to..make them work. Especially if you're the long haul type. To this day I'm a little bit in awe of the fact that anyone can be comfortable enough with someone else that they can fall asleep in the same bed.

@kescherRant Lol, I rooted new phones on the toilet. Often the bootloader supports booting from SD.

@kescherRant That's what locked means, isn't it? But unlocking can sometimes be done by dialing some random number and providing a code which I got online by entering the IMEI. It's fucking stupid, but it often works.

@Lor-inc well, I have dealed with certain manufacturers that require being logged into a certain account for a week on the device (I suppose to "prove ownership") and then running a Windows-only unlock tool

@kescherRant Many do that, but usually it can be tricked by creating a fake account, setting the system clock ahead and then spending a fraction of the saved time fiddling with wine until the magic happens. It is infuriating though. Why do I have to prove ownership to root it in the first place if find my device isn't enabled by default and rooting wipes the data? And why isn't the imei number enough for that.
