@Root not quite sure what you mean, do you mean this whois? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WHOIS

To put too fine a point on it: Whois will spit the domain registration record back at you. If it's not private it will give you the answer.

If it is, you'll have to hunt them down the old fashioned way; stalk random bbses and irc cantinas in the middle of the night.

I swear, kids these days ☺️

    Didn't help unfortunately but thanks!

This is such a cool website and it's so useful but that's just no info about who's running it. I just don't get it..

I did, it shows a domain selling website (namecheap.com) and cloudflare.com that doesn't help much

    I just don't understand why.

@chagai95 because they don't want to be flooded with spam, that's why. Exposing your personal name/phone/email in the whois info is just asking to be spammed to death by bots and crawlers.

You can put use a spam email and check it occasionally, in case you get spammed but I really don't believe you will get spammed.

@chagai95 60+ calls from wonderful Indian design firms who are all just waiting to help design me a perfect wordpress site disagree with you.

Last time I let someone use my info when setting up their hosting. Lesson well learned. Spam everywhere.

That's annoying, but that's why you use an extra spam email .

@chagai95 he said phone calls. On his phone number.
Whois privacy is not something new, it has existed for a long time for a reason.

We're giving you answers to your questions, yet you keep shutting us down. Why?
Are you a child that does not like it when the answer is not what he expected, or do you really not understand that things don't always work the way you think they do?

The base url is pretty interesting... https://kmcat.uk

Seems to be entirely google forms...

@arcsector i checked that out as well and didn't understand what it's about, I think travel or something like that

@chagai95 Its the same with me, I just don't want any personal information linked to a domain, for privacy reasons.

    Simple as that.
