Whoever implemented the data import in Numbers on Mac needs to be lined up against a wall and shot with needles until they wish they were dead.

Why on all of gods unholy green and shitty earth would i want data i import (EVEN IN CSV FOR FUCK SAKE) to be delimited by an arbitrary text width? WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK

WHY WHY why would I EVER want to delimit my carefully structured data by fucking text width instead of new line or comma? AAAAARRRHHH

And what fucking big brain genius made this the DEFAULT SETTING for imported text AND CSV FILES. IT STANDS FOR COMMA SEPARATED FILE YOU FUCK BOI MAYBE JUST MAYBE I WANT IT SEPARATED BY FUCKING COMMMMMMMAAAAASSSSSS

there is sadly no good alternative to microsoft excell for complicated spreadsheeting on mac.
Libre office is so outdated and crashes so often that it's no fun at all to use. Google Sheets is good but limited. And Apple numbers gets you the most basic things done but nothing more.

I'm definitely going to begin using "big brain genius" sarcastically as an insult.

Your mistake is using a mac.

@heyheni there is Literally Microsoft office for Mac, what are you talking about?

@HitWRight And what part of MS Office would you use for spreadsheet calculations? MS Excel, which is exactly what @heyheni mentioned as (sadly) only viable option?

@Fast-Nop I think I might have misunderstood what he had in mind. Language barrier and all. Sorry. (going to leave the other comment, just for clearity, feel free to vote me down)

@heyheni there's WPS office that works really well on Linux. They should have a Mac version as well
