Finished porting clientX to Linux, including dev laptops and desktops. The best part was getting to personally enjoy the moment I got to delete all IIS/Windows integration logic from the .Net core services.

    Were they receptive to the idea? Usually users, and especially devs who don't already use Linux are really hostile to it.

    Initially, of course not :) NIH is the force that binds the dev universe together.

    Took about a year and a half of showing, teaching, mentoring, tooling and generally making life easier to help them see the light. We didn't get everyone, but by the time we finished doing containerization and K8s, the ones that weren't on board had at least finished grieving.
