Vim + Tmux = Heaven. I love it.
I'm also getting better at the hotkeys (and there are A LOT of them) so it's a really nice experience when you can do things faster than using a IDE. I only missed the auto complete, so it's very very hard sometimes (DB connection for example).
I may look crazy for going back on time using it but it's so good i can't stop.

    That's awesome! I use screen but I think that does the same thing as tmux. Vim actually has auto complete, but I don't use it often. I think the hot key is ctrl+n

    Yeah miss autocomplete sometimes myself but it does close off my tags so I can deal with it especially since with browsersync my i3, tmux, vim, and firefox with vimfx is just about fully keyboard driven where my typing is alot faster while working.
