Yesterday I won an old Mac mini at work, then I lost it on the bus back home, but got it back today. What a roller coaster of emotions 😅

I have a 2014 Mac mini i7. It was an absolute horrible performer. I finally said WTH and replaced the drive. Replacing the drive voids all warranties and is not for the faint of heart, but if I can do it, anybody can. I was surprised when I pulled out the old drive and it was a 5400 Sata drive. Holy bottleneck, Batman! That SSD drive made the mini a completely different machine. Still shocked that Apple would ever sell that combination of hardware.
