Now I am a matured developer, I always check for semicolons first if I get any error.

p100sch15005yNot long ago, user support collegue told me about the last customer DB ajustment he had done. It was a simple sql update query, but with a semicolon in the where clause causing it to silently fail (all records in the table were updated). How he managed to do that, I honestly have no idea.

I know the feeling. I literally scratched my head for 2 seconds at one point last week before my IDE clearly pointed out my omission.
