When the doctor says "take this and comeback in 2 weeks" he is literally debugging his solution in your body.

I'm a bit freaked out.

He's shotgun debugging you!! He doesn't have access to the logs or debug console!

I've had many debugging sessions over the last years, but most fixes created other issues. Well, if you want to call them fixes at all, more like hacks to mask the problem. Largely unsuccessful ones. Too bad there is no proper documentation of the system!
