Saving comment text on close should be pretty easy.
Having comment box on thread has been suggested before, but not exactly sure how that would work. @trogus -
@dfox look how iOS handles this with email. When composing a new email, you can drag down and get to your inbox again. Then tap the "minimized" email to get it back. It works well and would be very helpful here.

@dfox @trogus Any chance we'll be able to have the comment box a bit smaller and display the current thread at the top of the screen while a user is adding a comment? It would also be cool if we didn't lose everything we typed in if we clicked on the X before posting a comment. I know sometimes I have to take another look at the thread to make sure I am replying correctly. Keep up the good work, guys!
