@netikras What I meant to say was that unfortunately Microsoft has been playing catch-up for the last 35 years with some really basic things because of a completely inferior knockoff monolith kernel that was programmed in a weekend. They should have aborted it before it went to market and focused on fixing posix compliance. Now we get to suffer from poor design decisions and an inferior OS because they scooped up a monopoly using shady business practices.
