Bootstrap philosophy seems to be turning every CSS property into a HTML class

All css frameworks are very generic. How else would you make specific classes to implement big design features with still adhering to any type of site. Bootstrap isn't alone in this, look at bulma, material or semantic ui as well.

IMO a site uses a framework like Bootstrap because they don't have a "real" designer. It's easy to implement some design if you're a programmer rather than thinking what you've made is any good.

I've slipped from doing my own css to using a framework to backend so I don't need to do any css.
