@RichardoC again gone, not available
Edit: nevermind, it was setting my region based on VPN all the time and making it unavailable..
Wouldn't you need a switch with those one slots anyway, which will make the power draw pretty much the same if not more as with just having it onboard? -
@arcsector sometimes it's better to not say anything, instead of a bunch of horseshit and belittling what is quite an interesting project.

@RichardoC since the other comment can't be edited anymore:
I've seen a multitude of tutorials for openWRT/pfsense/.. in the wild that always link back to recommended aliexpress hardware, maybe it would be better to scout those for already battle tested equipment instead of trying to fish your own? -
@JoshBent That's true, but I figured it'd be a fun little project (provided this hardware isn't too weird)
-
@Haxk20 just wondering, did you see the message he did before he deleted it? I only now realized it was an answer to you with tag.
-
@RichardoC for sure, just you might be into a lot of unexplored territory like those articles did until they hit gold or were very familiar with what works and what doesn't haha, also see my comment above just now, did you see what that guy posted as a response to haxk?
-
@Haxk20 I just wonder what attrocious answer he had to make for it to be despicable enough to delete lol

Anyone got any idea what hardware this is? Tempted to buy one and put openwrt on it as a credit card router... For that need to know what openwrt target I could flash.
Already found a USB step up converter to power it
