So apparently our windows domain admin now disabled screensavers.

I was always happy to return to my desk while looking at the pixel city screensaver I had and now it's just black.

I am mildly angered 😑

@alexbrooklyn I'd switch to Linux right away but there's a few Windows things I am required to have and I can't be arsed to boot up a VM for all that shit.

Not judging or anything. maybe the screensaver with the text "Domain Admins Suck" was a bit overboard. ;-)

I found out it's due to the GDPR bullshit. Forced screen timeouts of 1 minute are required and that apparently disables the ability to set a screen saver 🤔

GDPR doesn't ban screensavers or specify a time limit for them. That's a bullshit excuse.
