sleek34575yWorking from home doesnt work for me. I end up on youtube, sleeping and taking 30 mins snack breaks every half an hour.
-
@sleek very good answer, my work environment is cool, but it is so far from home. I spend my time and energy to go to work. And I prefer quite environments than noise, and in my work environment is just a little noise, doing I loss my concentration very easy.
Or in other point of view the problem is myself :D rsrsrssrs .
About youtube I see it, more at work than home.
I think it depends of person to person. ;) -
@akamaru I had a home office yesterday, because where I work was rains a lot and so dangers to go there. We use discord to maintain connected and talk... It was a great opportunity . Today I am at work :(

devTea240885yWork, can’t focus on home unless it’s personal project or a project that I really enjoy
-
Banele8975yI actually love working from home but the problem is I always work waaay more hours than I should.
-
@devTea oh right, in my case is a project of company I work with and I really enjoy that project.
We are trying home office in a specified cases, if it will be a good experience, maybe the company leave us work at home some days of week... :) -
VaderNT16345yI strongly prefer working from home. Quieter, no commuting... That I can mentally switch into "work mode" helps, I barely get distracted by house work, YouTube, whatever.
-
inkt11685yHome, my setup is better, standing desk, great sound system, I can work whatever hours I want.
-
@inkt Very good, I am planing make a home studio to work eventually and play video game, if you want share some tips about it, I appreciate it.
-
@Nanos hehehe, you attack all of points. great this is it :D :D :p
I like work at home because I can focus better. And in the final of day I am already home. -
Work, even if it takes almost 5 hours a day in commuting. I can't focus at home, I have my cat , my bed, my beer... can't focus. Always get up later than I should and just to watch top tens on youtube. When I'm at work, since I see people I hate everyday, I prefer to focus and not mind them while listening to music and non-stop programming.

Work, definetly.
With projects I enjoy I would not be able to separate work hours and leisure hours, and would quickly burn myself out.
With projects I don't enjoy in the other hand, I would find it difficult to keep myself concentrated at the task at hand....
