Spent 18 hours debugging and finding a fix for a critical bug, casually told about the fix to a senior programmer and left home. Couldn't go to office the next day and what I see on the day after that is endless mails praising the senior guy for fixing the bug. He stole my fix!

    Wait a day or two more and tell him explicitly that he is a dick for stealing all the credits and not giving you recognition.
    I don't get why people act like this. If you're a team you should act like one, not like a herd of individuals.

    To be fair if it was critical and you weren't there it kinda makes sense that he did it. Still a dick move though

    @12bitfloat But the asshole din even mention me in any of the mails where he boasted about the fix.
    Worst part yet, I din complain this to anyone in office but came here and posted it.
    Introvert level : Too damn high.
