Why did I not start playing elite dangerous sooner

Well I'd like to try it too, but I don't have a joystick airplane control thingy (which you apparently need/is good to have because keyboard controls for flying are meh) and I can't be bothered to buy one, especially because they aren't exactly cheap.

@Conrad k+m is actually quite usable once you re-bind the mouse Y axis to Yaw, its pretty good :D

Also you can use an xbox gamepad if you have one of those
