I had to switch machines in class. To continue working on my project, I needed to install 17 gb worth of Unity 2019 bullshit. Guess what? They removed the progress bar in the move to Unity Hub. Now I just get "Installing..." This seems minor, until I don't know if I'll be working in two minutes or two fucking days. What the fuck, Unity? Why would you remove a fucking progress bar?

It's an unfortunately common trend in UI design now. Just spinning animations and no progress bars.

@EmberQuill What a shame. Unity Hub isn't even useful, it's just an unnecessary clunky "manager" for Unity that breaks all the damn time. No joke, it started flashing between tabs when I'd hover my mouse over it in an attempt to stop the download.

I ended up finding their hidden download archives and downloaded 2019 alone. Stuff seemed to work (as well as Unity does..) after that, though I couldn't get build supports like usual. It's whatever I guess, I have the files hosted online and a working Unity setup at home.
