LuxARTS16636y@terraria99 It's not my fault that my boss and the IT team are stupid.

C0D4681466yOpen source is dangerous, can't use NodeJS.
Installs python Instead, a fucking open source language 😂
What magic mushroom did I just eat? -
i wouldn't want to work where you can't use node as front end development tool.
What's the justification behind this retarded policy? -
@irene yes, gulp, minify, webpack are front end development tools which require node locally.
I consider node as backend if you'd use as a server (express) over the internet as a part of a service. -
LuxARTS16636yI know Python is open source but seem like they don't know what the fuck that means. They didn't block Python because some of the software that they use requires it. I'm very confused just like you.

@LuxARTS seems like iq nexus enforces the companys open source policy. So for example management could allow the use of node but disallow some npm packages. And Nexus screens packages for vuneralbies like a anti virus.

People! Do you know if there is something similar to gulp and modules like minify, uglify, smooth, etc (for HTML, CSS and JS) that runs in Python instead of nodejs? I can't install nodejs/npm in my job because "open source software is dangerous" :)
