@asgs I bet he'll workaround with something shitty that complies with whatever you add to the hooks.
I would make him submit code by pull requests, and reject when the commit messages are shit. -
I always believed that flipping the table is the best way to make them understand in such cases.
In that case my action would be : go on his branch, remove some of his code then push with "fix" as message. Eventually he will come to you and ask you what it is (try to make the change as complicated as possible).
