Well that's a first.
A Chinese recruiter contacted me speaking entirely in what I suspect was Mandarin.

My resume and posted work experience lacks any mention of Mandarin, Cantonese, etc. Then again it also lacks any mention of Java, and yet recruiters still call me a Java master. πŸ€”

    Maybe the recruiter is heavily into the Drunken Monkey style.

    @Root my salary had raised 1.5 per hour 1 month ago. But my boss reduced my total working hrs per week from 40 to 30. And asked me, “have you started find another job”.
    Should I start look for a new job, like working for some Chinese company using Java in frontend? πŸ€”πŸ˜

    @sunfishcc πŸ˜… Maybe not a Chinese company, but probably. (Unless you're a Chinese Java Master, too!)

    I'm often called lots of things that I am not. None of it is complimentary though. Glad it's positive for you.

    Idk where y’all are. In my area we can’t hire devs fast enough

    @jeeper Nevada, USA.

    @jeeper try removing HR from the equation and bring management back into reality with their expectations that a new dev has to match 120% of their item buzzword tick list right away in order to meet schedules that have been nonsense from the get-go. Works wonders.

    @jeeper I'll go there remotely every day if that's an option πŸ˜‹
