Yeah. There are none other that are sick of JS and there are none other that screeches about JS. It's all you, all alone, all the time.

I'm having an amazing time with es6 js thanks to eslint and babel.

You're in good company. I disagree though. Do you use JavaScript?

@ihatecomputers i used to while i was doing more front end, but even back then all that react vs vue vs angular was kinda too much for newbie coder. And then you have now million of libs and fws based on es6, and beginners are way deep into it and screeching in confusion. I dont say Javascript is bad, but as filthy frank used to say "it's time to stop". All those million derivates are there to fill up cv with skills basically - change my mind

@Devilish I feel things are settling down. But maybe it's because I spent a year just trying to make sense of the different js lib/framework offerings, hah...

My point of view nowadays is that if I don't understand why a lib exists it just means that it's solving a problem I don't currently have. Everything else is just overwhelming, it's practically impossible to know all the libs. I guess that should be communicated clearly to JS devs.

Plain JS is a pain. Typescript on the other hand, such a great time.

You're not alone. I don't like the js ecosystem, but it gets the work done. Personally I prefer spending my time on pure CS instead of "software production" (app and stuff for commercial use), and JS helps me to pay the bills. This is the only thing that I appreciate.
