Is there some app which is basically:
devrant + messaging
?

Devrant + literally any other messaging app

@endor that would require both parties be on a common messenger. Also, even initiating conv. there would be tricky since exchange of those IDs publicly as comments might attract unwanted attention

devrant + messaging ~ slack + timeline/posts

@dUcKtYpEd The avatar editor surely must've been created painstakingly, and I have no issues with that. I'm inquiring about a messaging layer for 1-to-1 interaction. Both aren't same.
One reason I can think of for it's absence is added complexity and storage requirements due to it.
