    I just find this hard to believe. No, not the saving passwords in plaintext part but that it was supposedly done accidentally.

    I think that data would be very useful to three letter agencies and since its public knowledge that Facebook is integrated within at least one mass surveillance program powered by the NSA...

    @FrodoSwaggins theoretically they could use those plain passwords to access other sites. People tend to use the same password and email combo.
