What is the difference between predictable and consistent?

    To my ear consistent means that something happens over and over. Predictable means that you can tell that something will happen, but you might not know exactly when.

    But consult better ears than mine.

    Predictable period between hours.
    Consistent is all hours are made of 60 minutes and each minute is made of 60 seconds.

    Predictable = some weekends are exception because of women's anatomical reasons
