Manager to External : <badEnglish>We have problem with data feed, please fix</badEnglish>

External: Here's the situation <gives situation>
Me: Thank you! Here's the situation, but corrected <corrected situation>. Can we arrange a phone call on Friday or Monday?
External: Sure! whenever you like

Manager, this morning: where is the meeting for the phonecall?

Now I'm her fucking assistant. I had a glance a her calendar, it's full of full.

She'll soon ask me to cook for her and make her coffee too...

Shitty I don't have the qualifications for a proper developer job :((

    Is she hot?

@mpie must be, or it's his mom, aunt, sister...

@mpie one could say so, but definitely not my style

@xewl yep. She often says we're children because we're all the same age (27-ish) and she's not our mum... >_< pisses me off

Why would you care about the temperature of a manager, unless to assess upcoming fury or sickness?
  • 0
@Flygger I am definitely not caring, she imposes her stress on us and she doesn't realise she does it...

@Phlisg I just wondered when it was discussed...

But agree she oversteps where she should be going, and you should let her know that you didn't include her in the meeting, as it was technical and solution focused; both something not suitable for managers...

@Flygger well, she should be included in the call as there are some strategical stuff which I cannot answer to, so unfortunately I have to make the call with her, but also she is a very poor computer user, so she never fills in her meetings/appointments correctly in terms of timing, then I get a "no, am not available" and then "just look at my calendar", to which I can answer: "I did, there are some availabilities, but you entered things poorly so it's not accurate"

well anyway, I thought it wasn't my job to look if other are available or not... colleagues tell me that indeed it is... I find it weird :'D
