I wanted to post this as an advice for choosing passwords

I hate these systems. Give me a warning if you must, but don't force me. I'm sure my 15+ character password (including symbols) will survive without having an uppercase letter. :|

Rather this than all those people using 'password' , oh wait , they still do :(

The problem is that it doesn't fix anything. Instead you get "Password1".

I use KeePass and it's password generator for those. I have no idea what my actual Linux passwords are but they're all something like qwL1yU

Windows login though I use an increment algorithm: {some valid password}{counter}
