Impostor Syndrome at it's finest.

Any experienced developer knows writing good programs has very little to do with syntax and a whole lot to do with where you put it. If this guy actually did any work over his career he probably knows a ton about application architecture and design patterns without even realizing it.

    His book "Optimizing C++" is great. Now if only I was good enough to put all that knowledge to use...

    Copying and pasting a code from StackOverflow or other sites, and "copying" a code, just for the logic, modifying it based on your needs, are two different things in my opinion.

    How are going to learn more if it isn't for Google.
