Whenever I do freelance job and client does that I just say "No problem ,just pay me x dollars and I'll get on it immediately"

That is awesome..
However if u are not freelancing, but rather working for a soul less corporate..than trapped right -
ftyross1696y@Hackshay Your still in the same boat as the freelancer... the only difference is your hourly wages aren't as high. It will still take you the same number of hours to refactor the code to do the other thing.
And your more likely to get paid on time too -

Yep I definitely agree with getting paid on time part in corporate.
That is one issue in freelancing -
neriald14526yI had a senior who did just that(even though he was cool). Then he left and now I decide on my own from the beginning and it turns out okay yet I’d prefer having a senior around instead.

Actually this kind of request to change the functionality doesn't come from senior right?
Usually the business or subject matter expert or BA gives these requirements
Or client gives the requirements
