Is there a mp4 player on linux than can play in mini view like w10? VLC got a limit on how small the windows is allowed

    Use a tile wm such as i3 and u should be good. Otherwise i don’t know

    I don't know the complete set of feature because this is in pre-alpha stage... But you can make some changes and make it work...

    I personally use mpv, doesn't seem to have any limits on size.

    Maybe using ffmpeg could do the trick? Not sure if I mixed up with another command though...

    VLC is open source. It would probably be relatively simple to add a way to change the minimum size

    @devTea We could use QT, as I understand, they have MP4 support. As long as you're using MP4 files on your hard drive and not streaming, it may be a one-day thing.

    @M1sf3t Now that I think about it it might be called ffplay. I used it to make an alias that would play the MGS "Alert" sound, so I assumed it could play videos as well.

    Would make a great vscode extension you could open up your playlists in the file editor have auto complete from your music files also able you tube links with a video/song info panel and play/skip song in the status area, maybe Dropbox/skydrive integration if you want your collection available as you work on different computers
