No its a ripoff.
1. It was released October 2017, devices have 1.5 years of Android updates, then another 1.5 years of security patches.
2. Its the "not able to sell" and no one likes losing money in their stock so they drop down their price.
3. It is slowly turning into a burden rather than an item to make revenue from.
Device has good specs but I wouldn't buy it as it is to die soon, and will no longer be supported -
@metamourge From a developer point of view I totally agree, but I doubt average user will be willing to go through the process of unlocking, flashing, customizing ...etc.

@gitpush I should have highlighted it but class was fixing to start and I was trying not to laugh at it

@gitpush Best Buy had the Pixel 3 XL for $600 for Verizon customers if they upgrade their line or open a new one.
I thought that was a fucking deal but boy was I fucking wrong. I got ripped off with this freaking awesome deal. Smh -
@ModernShoe My OG XL was stuck in a bootloop.
I finally broke it but it'd start the loop again after ~5 minutes of usage.
And 2 XL isn't even 2 years old lol -
@gitpush
Pixel 2 has 3 years of OS updates as well as 3 years of security patches by the way
