I just blew up at my boss again.... I'm doing something and then he asks about including a new feature and figure out if it's doable. A quick question is ok but an analysis of a new feature.... NOT WHEN I'M IN THE MIDDLE OF RESOLVING A MORE IMMEDIATE ISSUE.

OPEN A FUCKING JIRA, SEND ME AN EMAIL, AND I'LL TAKE A LOOK ONCE I'M DONE WITH WHATEVER I M DOING.

    >be boss
    >think of a cool feature
    >go to dev
    >see dev is busy
    >"Hey, how doable is this?"
    >sees dev is frustrated
    >dev: "I don't know, I'm kinda busy right now"
    >"Great, I'll come by tomorrow so you could show me"

@billgates probably your boss, since he seems like a baby

@xprnio he has a problem with priorities. The only time I IM someone (global team) is if I have a quick question, it's actually urgent or following up on an email I sent a few days ago.

Relax it's completely normal for project manager to bring in and ask new stuff all the time. In the last 3 companies I've been, they come and interrupt "hey can you check if this is possible to implement?"

If you are focused or "in the zone", you should kindly set a time for him/her eg. "Hey how about lets check that at 2 in the afternoon, I'm about to catch a bug here" and it will be fine.

@wateringdisease we for example have weekly company meetings and daily development team meetings for things like that. So far there hasn't been a single case of my boss coming and telling me or anybody to stop what they're doing basically and see how viable a feature is to implement.

@wateringdise which is what I said? If you want something, open a jira and send me a mail with the info, I will get back when I have time.

He's always like "could you just check? This should be easy... It's just ... How hard could it be?"

@xprnio I know, we have too! :D but some people just cannot wait and they need to come interrupt right away :D
