I have an assessment test tomorrow where I need to demonstrate a prototype website that is responsive and show it to a client(interviewer)

I have only done the website prototype at the moment as I got told on Friday. Should i also create the mobile prototype or explain to the client that it will be responsive and works on mobiles

If the interviewer expects it to be responsive, make it responsive.

When building websites always start at mobile first, then scale up to desktop which is actually easier then it sounds.

@C0D4 I'm using Adobe Xd to make the prototype. Would you suggest I make it in html and css?

@They adobe XD is great and pretty easy to make responsive prototypes.

If you can, I’d make it semi interactive atleast (key buttons, links) to slide to other screens and easily represent the flow of things as well as getting the designs to work at scale.

If you think you can make a mock-up with html/css go for it, but it depends on time, expectations and your abilities overall.
