That happened to me a lot.

Or even better:

I had 2 copies of the same HTML file. I open one in my text editor, and I open the other in my browser (accidentally).

I make a lot of changes. Nothing happens. Clear the cache, and try a few other things. Still nothing. Call someone over to help and instantly realize that I am dumb lol

That's why you use live preview extensions for HTML files, that refresh the page each time you do Ctrl+s :D

You can hard reload from browser, Cmd+R on Mac, to fetch files again.

Ctrl+F5 force refresh without cache, at least in Opera.
