With 40€/m it's the cheapest broadband option I can get in switzerland. And downloading 45 gigabyte 4k hdr dolby atmos blue ray rips in 8 minutes while watchin 4k netflix isn't that bad either. Or playing the newest games in 4k hdr glory on nvidias GForce cloud gaming service on my tv without owning a beefy PC is simply astonishing. And my nas server gives me google drive like access to my files.

It's a political desicion. My city voted for that the muncipal service will provide a fiber optic network 10 years ago. So if you lack good internet access and live in a city. You may consider contacting your local politicians and start a movement and a petition.
