After Bought Minecraft, I'm planning to create a Programmable 4-bit Computer.

Just Finished Building ALU, So Here's my Progress Screenshots :

    Wow cool!

    @Linux ikr, i am proud of myself

    @irene Project Red 2 on 1.12.2

    @irene oops sorry, yea its supposed to be Project Red. No i don't think so, maybe not yet. But the Custom. IC is pretty useful tho

    Make it run Minecraft

    @dmoa see a 4 bit computer can add and subtract 4 bit numbers. A real computer usually runs 32 or 64 bit operations. Space is also limited. It's not impossible, but it's like saying "Make AI that won't destroy humanity" to a binary search algorithm.

    @Mitiko I was joking lo

    Did Eloraam port RP to 1.12 or did someone else port it?

    @D3add3d I believe the author is MrTJP
  • 3
    @irene AFAIK she is working on a standalone game based on RedPower.
  • 1
    @irene Oh she is not silent, she is working on her own game, tweeting quite often :)

    Project Red (RedPower before) + ComputerCraft = infinite fun

    Oh for fucks sake!

    I did the exacly same thing yesterday!

    Mine is 8 bit and it is more spread out so you can see what is happening.

    I recommend world edit for moving shit.

    @irene @D3add3d
    It is a copy or port made by someone else, now mod is called Project Red

    The same had happened with EE
    it is called ProjectE

    The mod that allows you to transmutate shit into other shit using emc values. (original fron 1.2.5)

    Yay!

    I tried a 16bit bus and it gave up when I realized just how large it would be. 😅

    @Root did you use mods?
  • 1
    @wowotek Originally no. The wires and cable bundles from redpower (and fmp covers/bridges) would have miniaturized the circuitry immensely.
  • 2
    @Root of course, thats why i use Project Red, they have 4 sided I/O custom IC too which help a lot.

    Nice use of mods.

    Sheesh, where did you go after all this days 🤣 @Condor
  • 1
    @wowotek please don't mind me, I'm a bit late indeed 🙈

    @Condor im nearly finishing this computer, need to add data buses and moving things around.
