What's wrong with this developer. I know at some point Eclipse was king, so you better stop playing with peoples emotions, lol 😅.

I appreciate eclipse for its no bullshit attitude about development. Its light, portable, and enjoyable for me to use (With a dark theme that is.) And i have a near fetish like passion for really sexily designed software, I love how Intelij looks. But that's about it. :/

I can say, I hate eclipse. Its just frustration for me. In studies i started using intellij and in exams I had to use eclipse for a last task because university had no license for intellij. So eclipse was able to import half of the standard libraries. Not sure why, I tried everything that came into my mind, fixed some stuff, sth else got broken.. In the end I had to write code in gedit. Really nice.
When I started working, I had to use eclipse again. So there was a quite big maven project and the first thing to do every morning was rebuilding the whole project 3 - 4 times, because eclipse is a piece of crap. Besides that there were crashes, bugged git overviews and not reconstructable failures from time to time.

Im not fronting I know everyone is making up his experiences, but at least I hate it and can feel the meme.

@caap also this just simply sounds like you aren't familiar with eclipse, it does alot less handholding for more advanced users, so it's fine because you were in the process of learning. But I don't think it's fair to quite literally simply call it a peice of shit.

@Aeternum I think u should try out some more IDEs. U dont seem to familiar with it. I have the right to call it a piece of crap, because from my point of view it is. Its okay if u made other experiences and like it the way it is, but I dont.
Its not like I had to use eclipse for some weeks, I have dealt with it for about a year in total and after those two sessions during studies and after I can say, in my opinion its not a good IDE.

What's wrong with eclipse.. I like eclipse.. Dont be an asshole to just follow the trend of "shitty eclipse".. First use it and then tell your fucking opinion
